JBN3, nice to see you're back. BTW, I agree, the thread has almost become a gossip column. However, let's talk relevant issues. DELL will pop only after options expiration, and not before. Knowing how the MM's manipulate this time of the month we will see the stock at or below $55 by Friday pm or sooner. But watch the week following expiration, it will zoom up to the high $50's, maybe even $60 or more.

Based on our previous discussions this pattern seems to happen the month after DELL reports earnings. Let's hope Mr. Greespan doesn't
impact the market too much next week, however.

Both monsieurs Dell & Meredith provided sufficient feedback last week on Q3 to give me the feeling that a 30› quarter [post split] is highly probable. With Intel reinforcing Q3 strength we may even see Compaq NOT warning.
