Hello; < off topic> BUT I Just bought one of thoes sub $700 PC's..so my wife can have her own, in fact it was only $599 , a CTX..with monitor too..
2.1 gig HD, 16meg mem, 686 cyrx 200 cpu, 12 speed CD , 33.6 modem
fax/voice combo, sound card, mouse, speakers, etc..with win95
installed.. AT OFFICE MAX.
I will jack up the mem to 32..( thats dirt cheap right now )
BTW it has an intell MB with pci buss, and can take
any 686 cpu if you want to spend the dough on a MMX cpu it will
upgrade easy enough.
This is not top tier type computer, it's more a close out of over
stock CTX has, but it's a steal at $599..and loss leader for Office Max..I just checked it out and it runs fast enoung..I doubt they
last long at that price.
Being they got me in the store I also picked up a HP photo
color printer..not the big one but good enough. Man HP has
some nice printers now..cheaper than when I bought my old
IIP..they do color, copy, and scan..now I need a digital
camera.
