Sprint PCS Releases Newest Motorola
V.Series CDMA Phones

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sprint Corp.'s PCS Group (PCS) will sell
Motorola Inc. (MOT) Code Division Multiple Access wireless phones in
conjunction with its digital wireless telecommunications plans.

Financial terms weren't released.

In a press release Tuesday, Sprint said it will offer the new V8162 and
V2267 CDMA phones, which will allow access to Sprint Wireless Web
services.

The V8162 will sell for $399.99 at Sprint stores beginning in July, while the
V2267 will sell for $99.99 in Kmart Corp. (KM) and Target Corp. (TGT)
stores starting in July.
