"With Bush Jr. the necons have found the perfect patsy. So long as the band still plays Hail to the Chief and people call him "sir" at meetings (and he gets lots of money) then he is perfectly happy to play the part of President, and let the neocons run amuck.

I understand the perspective. I honestly don't know how autonomous Bush is in his presentation. I am also cautiously skeptical regarding the 'amuck' aspects of such a powerful administration. It worries me, but I stop short of unsubstantiated allegation.
