7 minutes is extremely slow. 3 minutes would have been sufficient to ensure a smooth transition Disagree entirely. What COULD have been different or CHANGED? And HOW do you arrive at 3 minutes versus 4 or 5 or 6? You say "sufficient to ensure a smooth transition" but in reality what does this tangibly amount to? Things were going on behind the scenes. The President immediately running out of the room will not make the military planes fly faster. It is easy do play Monday-morning quarterback now, but I think people forget the enormity of that day and how slowly it washed over the entire nation. Regards, Brian
