L.O.M Medical Board Announcements: February 16, 2001

New Board Member
L.O.M Medical is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Harold Punnett
to its Board of Directors. The Board members are pleased to have him join
the L.O.M team. Dr. Punnett has had his own private dental practice in the
Vancouver area since 1984. For the past 10 years he has been an active
participant in the investment community. Presently Dr. Punnett is a part
of a private venture capital group based in Europe as well as serving as
member on the Board of Directors for one other public company.

Consulting Agreements
A.) L.O.M Medical has entered into a consulting agreement with Mr. Stephen
Stow of Zen Capital & Mergers Limited. Mr. Stow will be a prime consultant
to the management team and Board of Directors in L.O.M Medical. Stephen
Stow has an extensive background in finances and mergers. Presently he is
the chairman and Asia representative for 360 Networks.

B.) L.O.M Medical has appointed Evans & Evans, a Vancouver based company,
as our evaluations consultants. Their primary engagements with L.O.M will
be to advise the management as they progress towards the sales of products
and how it relates to the share value.

Syringe Update
Phase one of our syringe proto-type is scheduled for its initial evaluation
February 20th, 2001. B C Tech will have eight ICU teaching nurses in
attendance for this evaluation. The results of the phase one report will
be posted on our website when it is completed.
