OT GV, just closed that deal with half a dozen companies. Most stressful contract ever negotiated in my life, 3 all nighters over past week. Looks like we've got ourselves an echosystem and are "in." Our competitor will look into oem'ing when we reach their target, while our other competitor's channel is beginning to carry our products. It'll be less than desirable for anyone to take a friendly company like us out at this point, given the echosystem that would resist this.
Think we just made it. (Hurray) Finally. But I wonder how we compare to other companies? When you look at google, you can't help but feel embarrassed with your own progress. Then again, they aren't in the communication business which was hit really hard, so maybe relative to comm companies, we've done so-so. There's worse. At least we now have an echosytem : )
Looks like I may have more cash to invest here.
What do you think of Intc's valuation? Looks low to me, relatively speaking. Was almost going to buy more csco today, but noticed Intel's valuation seems unduly low. Maybe will get some Intel today then keep an eye on Cisco for a later buy.
Have you looked at some of the comm companies that recently got funded? Some of them look yummy. Need to meet some of them.
A good friend of mine is finally turning his company around. Quite a few companies suddenly doing well all at once. Makes you wonder if the economy is turning around? But Roach's last article certainly was convincingly scary?
Quick question: have you heard of a vc-funded trademark company? So far we have won all of our trademark battles, by way of either being earlier than others or thru an agreement to exchange. But there's this one company that will suck up more time - even though we are earlier. Would just prefer to hand the trademark over to some vc-funded trademark firm and let them deal with the administration of it to save time. Would never do this with technology, only a TM.
