He uses a computer very little and mostly just to check his email and make occasional amazon purchases. So far he's getting by with his smartphone, but he will buy a new computer at some point.
On a completely unrelated note, sometime this month or next will be converting the old beast, the beast of all beasts, lenovo w701 thinkpad into a linux workstation or just another win10 slave client. And I'm leaning former over latter just for experience sake. -gulp-
That sounds pretty exciting. I have a Chromebook that I've thought about putting Linux on, but I've hesitated because it would require flashing the bios and would hate to brick the Chromebook. Chances are I might never get around to it.
