24/7 Real Media, Inc. Signs Exclusive Open AdStream Agreement with Chicago Board of Trade Thursday February 27, 9:43 am ET
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 2003--24/7 Real Media, Inc. (Nasdaq: TFSM - News), a leader in interactive marketing, announced today it has signed an exclusive agreement to provide Open AdStream(TM) ad serving to he Chicago Board of Trade's Web site, www.cbot.com. The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT(TM)), established in 1848, is the world's oldest derivatives (futures and futures-options) exchange.
Open AdStream is a proprietary online ad serving technology available in local and fully-hosted (Central) versions. It is the most effective means for Web publishers to manage their online advertising revenue. Developed along with some of the world's leading publishers, Open AdStream allows organizations to control individual ad deliveries, generate detailed reports and maximize ad placement across their entire Web site(s). Open AdStream allows for more effective and efficient management of ad inventory and the delivery of more targeted campaigns.
"This is the first time we have used a third-party ad server, and we wanted a partner who could meet our strict privacy concerns," said Judy Gordon, the CBOT's director of marketing. "24/7's Open AdStream was able to address these concerns by enabling us to retain ownership of user data. At the same time, we can offer our advertisers more specific targeting, which in turn means more highly monetized online advertising for our site."
Thomas Capato, 24/7 Real Media's senior vice president of technology sales, said, "We are pleased that Open AdStream was able to meet the very stringent security requirements set forth by the Chicago Board of Trade. That we were able to do this speaks to the technology's flexibility to meet the very specific needs of Web publishers." |
