kind of hard to ignore the benefits. Medicare , etc. would be castrated .....i can see the media coverage now, when people are being denied and allow to die. The benefits far outweigh the costs, not just in human terms. How much does long term care cost for a very sick heart patient as opposed to the same patient with an icd.
