that means population policy, socio-economic policy, and industrial policy
If that justifies TERRORIZING CHINESE WOMEN with FORCED ABORTION, then one can only wonder how the Communists would deal with NON-CHINESE in their efforts at "population control".
We know how the Chinese military treats their own civilians and we know how they, and their NK underlings, treated US POWs in Korea:
"Virtually every provision of the Geneva Convention governing the treatment of prisoners of war was purposely violated or ignored by the North Korean and Chinese forces," the Potter report declared. "More than 5,000 American prisoners of war died because of Communist war atrocities and more than a thousand who survived were victims of war crimes."
According to Potter's report, "Approximately two-thirds of all American prisoners of war in Korea died due to war crimes." The Potter report also documented 35,459 war crimes against civilian victims in Korea, plus a total of 20,785 war crimes against military personnel in all the United Nations forces combined, including U.S. troops.

you seem really shy about this portion of the discussion. why?
What? Referring to US soldiers as "baby-killers".. Is it really worth answering such a ludicrous and indefensible position? It's BS and you know it.
I know that if I ever saw any US soldier showing disrespect for the Iraqi people without cause (having something thrown at them, foul language.. etc), I'd be in their face.
Loss of innocent civilian lives may happen in the course of conducting war, especially when the enemy uses them as human shields, but it's not official policy to deliberately target them for death.
Show me where it's currently "official policy" to target and kill non-combatant women and children. You won't be able to.
Other than that, war is an ugly thing.. Which is why Americans generally don't like to treat it lightly, nor with hesitation. Get in, do what has to be done, and then try and repair the damage after the enemy is defeated so war never happens again.
But in the US, forcing a woman to have an abortion is called murder. In China it's "population policy".
Can't think of a better way of defining the difference between how you and I perceive the world.
