Used as intended. Performance? Fact: the TPC-C benchmarks for large scale DBMS applications show that Windows is the fastest platform in the world, using COM+ as a transaction monitor BTW. Top 3 spots and 6 of the top ten. Fact: Everything in the Exchange Store can be accessed via http. It also supports Outlook's published but proprietary protocol MAPI. Fact: Microsoft's kerberos implemenation is compliant with RFC 1510 use of the optional authdata field. Some kerberos implementations do not comply with the spec for handling optional fields.
