Hedonic Breakfast Cereal breakfast cereals. Publix prices are outrageous - 4 and 5 dollars for a box of cereal - the dollar general still sells boxes of cereal for one dollar. My grandpa only ate oatmeal for breakfast with a touch of honey he got from his beehive. Bernanke told me to use his hedonic cereal adjustment - that is where you go to any local hotel from 6 - 9am - pretend to be a customer and walk into the continental breakfast room and load up on cereal and juice and coffee - hehe. Then if you are really feeling lucky - find an open room and take a shower or a nap or as someone as leaving pretend to be hotel staff - ah the nice free pool and hot tub at the hampton inn - hedonics is fun!
