They all do it if they want to win. Look at the Republican nominees, the most dishonest is Romney and he is going to win. Is he a coward? Blame the people, they say they want honesty, but they don't and won't vote for honest people. Say a good politican is pro choice and says so or a liberal and says so, the pro life people say they want honesty but if they know he is pro choice or a liberal they will not vote for them. George Mcgovern was the most honest politican who ever ran, and Nixon was the most vile pathological liar that ever existed and Nixon beat McGovern in 49 out of 50 states. McGovern also had two PHD's, one in theology and was a WWII bomber pilot and war hero and the man bobby Kennedy called the most decent man in the senate. Bush was a patholigical liar and Kerry refused to condem gay marriage. James Carvelle told him he had to denounce gay marriage, or he would lose, but his ethics would not allow him to do it. so how did th epeope reward his honesty?: they voted for bush! << If Obama could speak his mind It would be nice to have a President that didn't hide his views and was confident and secure enough to be honest with the American people.
