It's hard for me to get into the mind of someone who would lend to AOL at 4+%, but I would think at least some of the bonds would stay along for the ride. They may well think it's capable of going well beyond 100, but (barring default) they incur significantly less risk holding the bond, and in this low rate environment, 4% isn't as skimpy as it was.
