FDA has been in a cranky mood, lately, judging by the way they handled other small cos. (e.g. Depo and Neo). This is a delay, not a death knell. Hyaluform is going very well in Europe. Both Collagen and Biomatrix have enough on their plates for 98 so it was no big deal to investors. FDA is in no rush to approve, cosmetic type vanity products, unless it's for hair loss or erectile dysfunction. Approval in 99 will be good for both companies. Had it happened sooner, we would have had extra juice to Synovisc and Softform Implant momentum.
