Rick,
I know that many of us were concerned about the movement of the date for earnings announcement, but as far as I can tell, they decided to do it (as did other companies I am told) because of the way the holidays fell this year (Jan. 1st on a Wednesday); as a result, I believe that they actually chose to move the date for earnings announcement to Monday just to give themselves a few more days to put it all together.

Hope this helps. It is as much as I have been able to glean from my conversations with my broker who has been following S3 practically since it began a few years ago.

But, like you, I am again disappointed tonight about how Intel's statement about expectations of a flat near future has affected all the tech stocks (including S3); I was expecting some really good momentum building, and perhaps it will, but today was at least a temporary setback. Hang in there, though; I still think that Marshall has his finger on the pulse of S3, and I don't think he is prescribing any change in strategy at this time. But, of course, I do not mean to speak for him. I hope he shows up soon to give us his views.

Upward ...

Richard
