I couldn't agree with you more FilerBill. If you check some of my old posts you'll see the reasons why I believe the LS120 is a dog. It has nothing going for it (backward compatibility not a big issue anymore). Its technically feeble. Not only is it slow but is not bootable in regular PCs (unless you buy a new Compaq with LS120 support in ROM BIOS). Sure, OR Tech. may fix this major problem in the future but I've heard no news on it. Poor technical performance, only 1 OEM contract with Compaq to date, horrendous marketing, questionable reliability & software support, $210 price point not attractive and to top it off I still can't buy this thing (after 1 year since it was announced). This was the product that IO shorts touted as ZIP's biggest threat? What a bunch of fools! Come next year, the computer industry would've forgotton about the LS120.
