Steven R Altman, the president of QCOM, is a lawyer without engineering degree. He was leading legal department as vice president to oversee legal/licensing issue and related litigation, and still doing the same role over all as president. A lawyer with engineering degree would be much better choice for the company like Qualcomm. qualcomm.com
