TheCow, Not exactly the same problem...but. I've experienced similar behavior on my machine recently. Last weekend I was checking out etoys and clicked on a page and a totally different site came up (one I'd never been to). I heard something about crackers planting "hot keys"...I guess it somehow over rides the link that you intended to click on? This uninvited link would reappear randomly. After I shut the computer down and rebooted the problem disappeared.
