The figure of 73mcfd is not impressive at all. I do believe that you are actually talking about 73mmcfd. The tests that you are talking about should mention if the rate noted was absolute open flow (AOF) or not. When a well goes into production the producer will chock back the rate depending on many formation and external factors. Other items that should be looked at for this type of test is to see if the flow rate was constant through the test period and if the pressure of the well built back up quickly after the test to the original value. If the pressure does not return close to the original pressure there may be some depletion of the reserves from production in the test.

These are only a few items that should be looked at to decide whether the well is as impressive as it appears on the surface.
