Food for thoughts:
Gold is down, and now oil. I guess if we all convert to Judaism, pork belly might lose its value in the futures market tomorrow.
An analogy between oil drillers/service stocks and AAPL: if a smart guy says something smart, people take it for granted and are not surprised; if a stupid person says something smart once in a while, people all applaude him. Don't you think it's an appropriate analogy? I think it does.
I am not a TA or FA guy, but I have learned a lot from this thread, such as the three big guns, Mike, Thean and Glen.
Another thought, how comfortable are you guys gonna be dating or necking with some of the gun-ho, hawk-like female shorts or longs in the market, by which I mean on a very intimate basis? Would you still find them attractive and femine in bed still after they come back from a blood-thirst session on the street? Personally, I will have nightmares. I would never, never marry someone like that. Why? Cus you will never know when she is going to treat you as a market or when she is going to turn bullish or bearish on you. A thought for fun amidst much blood-shedding.
P.S. Most people may not believe or like this, but in the remote fishing town of Fujian Province in southern China, the fishermen never allow any female to go with them on a fishing trip. They have a saying which is a very superstitious one even by my standard: when a female is on board a ship, it will get wrecked. Hey, don't hold me liable for it.
