I visited the aapl shrine in NYC earlier today with son. Goal was to use up the refunds from iPhone purchase. This was after 6pm Friday afternoon. It was crowded at the entrance. Yes! That is a line of people snaking around dividers going up to pay for gear and to pick up the new iTouch 8GB, which was the toy a lot of these people were getting. Look closer, you see people with MacBook pros and Macbooks. Others were waiting on line for the $100 refund. They also have the new nanos, everywhere alongside the iPhones, iTouchs, and iPod classics. So much stuff and people were buying lots of iMacs too! As for us, we needed to catch a show, so we couldn't wait on line for our refund. I'll pick it up via online orders.... Paul
