Neither has a convincing formula for keeping Iran from going nuclear, but it would not be politically wise for either to talk about post-nuclear containment. One potential issue regarding using nuclear energy to help solve the energy crisis, is that it will encourage nuclear proliferation. Such a context, that of energy efficiency, makes it harder to oppose such development in other countries, or not. Could this be a national security issue or nothing to worry about ?
