Something else interesting from the Ingram site: they had the SYQT EZ135 under the tape drive category, but hey they were #1 in that category.

I did some ad-hoc channel checks on Jaz. I asked what could I get to alleviate swapping out hard disks every 12-18 months. The clerk immediately started with Jaz (no prompting at all). But then said they are expecting another order in the next week or so -- they got wiped out over Labor Day. This was at Circuit City. The other stores checked included Future Shop and Incredible Universe -- both of which were also wiped out from Labor Day.

So I can't confirm a slow down in my highly scientific check.
