IMO it will take YEARS, if ever, for China to get control over products produced/manufactured and exported from their country. They have too large a population and too many 'under the table' manufacturers. I have changed my food buying habits, starting with investigating local sources. I started googling local farmers' markets and cooperatives. We have several commercial year round 'farmers' markets' which I excluded from my search. IMO the produce and meats at these markets are much the same as one finds in the supermarket.
