The October 4, 1999 issue of Forbes has a cover article on
IBM.

On page 95 the article states:

The world's first silicon-germanium chips will
power new cell phones. The chips are from
IBM, but the phones carry Qualcomm's
brand.

Landis is quoted as saying in your post # 689:
"We also like a tiny little chip manufacture called Triquint semiconductor, which is a great little RF manufacture.
And the nice thing about chip companies is you can buy their products all the time and you don't know it. But
break open your cell phone and there's a great chance there is a Triquint chip inside."

My question, will Triquint be loosing any market share to IBM?
