From what I saw on I believe the History channel, the ICE AGE can come upon us VERY FAST and may be triggered by waters in the artic warming causing the warm gulf stream not to sink and return to the south for rewarmth in the tropics. Thus the temp. in much of N. America becomes like Siberia. We are talking one generation here. jdn
