If you compare va.com to its competition, you'll realize who's using this method, which i believe is very effective.

so... they may prove that they can sell products (apple bundle, and now an ibm bundle), and therefore get the funding. i don't work for the company nor do i have any inside knowledge of their sales. but i believe it's selling, since the apple bundle was not available for a short time (maybe a few hours) two weeks ago, and the ibm bundle was just made available. but i can't prove it unless i work for the company, or the like....

you may have a different view point.
