"The audit is supposedly complete" Only your are supposing this. There is NO evidence to support that the audit is complete. BTW, what's the difference between "reading between the lines" and "making it up"? You seem to be doing the latter, but the story gets more complicated and unbelievable as each event unfolds, and must be explained-away with yet more "reading between the lines", since so little real information is coming from the company itself.
