after the movies and dinner with the iphone 1.1.1, i have to say that the iPhone surfs better. for one, whenever you surf into one of those sites where the text is landscape or just too big for display on the 480x320, you'd lose your screen position with version 1.0.1, but they fixed it with 1.1.1 for many text dominant sites. this is much like the window ce operated palms. i also found that opening many pages concurrently appears to be less prone to crashes. i followed the mets and yankees scores on MLB.com, espn.com and my son cartoon network and 1.1.1 did not crash. that's better. paul
