I doubt you think Reagan was always and everywhere correct. I certainly don't. I'd prefer him to any president we've had since but that doesn't mean he was always right. He's wrong here. SS spending increases the deficit as much as any other spending. SS taxes decrease the deficit just like other taxes do.
