Are you talking about the poor citizens trying to escape the hellish dictatorships we installed and supported in Iran, Chile, Guatemala? What is the moral position that the U.S. used to justify our invasion of Viet Nam and propping up that pathetic government? Has any other country invaded more countries or overthrown more governments in the history of the world than the U.S.? Maybe Germany?!? There are plenty of people who have absolutely nothing to thank the U.S. for, as we destroyed their democracies and freedoms and stole their resources. Thanks a lot. Viet Nam wanted to unite as one country after the French were finally defeated and we prolonged their suffering and killed millions more. Thanks a lot. Give it a rest. I love the good ole US of A, but we have way too many skelletons in our closet to act like moralists.
