Company Press Release

QuesTec's First National Contract for SuperVision is a
Success

DEER PARK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 1997--QuesTec Imaging Inc. (QuesTec),
(NASD-BB:QSTI) announces that it has successfully completed its first national contract for its
patented SuperVision(SM) system.

SuperVision(SM) was utilized by NBC to enhance their broadcast of the 1997 Major League
Baseball National League Championship Series (NLCS) and the 1997 World Series.
SuperVision(SM) replays were shown on air over 80 times throughout the course of the Playoffs and
World Series. The contract totaled $109,800.00 (US) for the 13 games (6 NLCS and 7 World
Series).

The NBC staff have expressed that they were impressed with the speed and accuracy of the recently
updated version of SuperVision(SM). Additionally, numerous positive responses have been received
by both email and verbal communications regarding SuperVision's(SM) usage and performance.

NBC's national broadcast of SuperVision(SM) throughout the World Series and Playoffs has
solidified SuperVision's(SM) market acceptance and the FOX network international broadcast has
given SuperVision(SM) worldwide recognition. SuperVision(SM) was featured or mentioned in
publications such as the Miami Herald, Palm Beach Post and USA Today. The national exposure
QuesTec has received will help in future negotiations with existing clients and has sparked interest
with other national and regional broadcasters for baseball and other sports.

''The only thing I didn't like about SuperVision(SM) was that Morgan (Joe Morgan, NBC Sports
Commentator) was hogging the monitor and I had to look over his shoulder to view
SuperVision(SM) replays'' said Bob Uecker, NBC Sports Commentator, commenting on the
continual SuperVision(SM) display in the broadcast booth.

QuesTec develops and markets proprietary software systems that capture, render, and display
real-time graphic simulations for sports entertainment, display media, business and industry.

This news release was prepared by management and they accept responsibility for its content.
