Of COURSE htey came through the wash intact. They are made of Chinese petrochemicals. The itchiness worries me, though. Keep us posted on any reports of, uhm, intimate defoliation.

The thing with the nun was scary giggly. I remember with a sort of horrified awe that I took the image of the Crucifix for granted, y'know, that's just the way it is. Like throwing a quarter into the weird robot urinal guarding the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Generic penance.
Now that I'm older and oh so much more squeamish, I find more and more nuggets of casual barbarity buried in any religion you want to name. Even the Non-Prophet Organizations.
