i think they'll get better as even with those few 1080i that are available to be downloaded, they are not as high quality as from hd-dvd or blu-ray disks. yes, they are $20 to $30, but through amazon with the 10% off, most are under $18. by the time the 1080i downloads are more popular; as with FIOS at 20mbs+, prices there will get blu-ray DVD's to $10-$15.

i think we'll be there in a year or two.

all this new stuff is making my head spin as well.
the mrs wants a bigger apartment just to house more of my electronic gear! lol
