Pat, Absolutely not! CPQ shareholders actually benefit as the strong get stronger. As HP,DELL,IBM,GATE,some Far East and CPQ get stronger, the weak cash poor competitors will fade. Its already happening, with companies like Vobis,Schneider,Amstrad,Olivetti,Packard Bell,Bull,Austin,AST, Etc. The market share gains over the cash poor competitors are currently greater than any potential losses to each other. These giants are getting bigger and stronger at an alarming (but good if in a long position) pace. Yes, competition matters, and CPQ views HP as formidable, but I see no worry here, as CPQ's new products and low cost producing abilities are arguably the world's best. LF
