Actually I had gotten the subject of short-squeezes yet, too busy to post part III. However, your losses are never limitless. You always have to be cautious and place realistic expectations for potential losses (RISK).

BUT if a stock goes up threefold in the absence of a change in company fundamentals or prospects, it is short by definition when it goes up so fast.
