TA, my dear Margarita, is for gypsies and astrologers! i look at the fundamental trends in the marketplace. oracle is unhappily getting the rug pulled out from under it, and microsoft is happily building a strong fortress. i think oracle pushed really hard to produce a good looking quarter because they know that they can't afford to lose momentum again. it's too late though, the game is over and it's going to be a long drawn out bleeding. do you seriously think Gates is ignoring Ellison's taunts? Ellison taking on Microsoft is about as dumb as Barksdale starting the browser "holy war". The results will be the same, except worse because there are lots of vultures pecking at Oracle's business lines simultaneously.
