Greetings ASW followers. I have often wondered when and if someone would be interested enough to start a thread. Almost did myself a couple.......... I have been in and out of anglo for years. Mined underground on the Kenville in 92-3 and lived on site for 3-4 years.I drilled some holes from underground in 94 initially for the company then for Teck. (searching for the lost vein) I peeled some corrundum samples off the blu star property in 94-5 ,before the bulk sampling of such. Overall the company has held my interest for quite a while. The directors involved are IMO good and honest people and have ground away hard against a lot of odds over the years. I still hold a chunk of shares and always will and keep in touch with asw every so often. Sometimes things seem to go awful slow, and they do! which is why I finally moved off the kenville property to pursue mining elswhere. However every year I patiently wait for drill results to expose the high grade narrow vein system that the property is known for. Maybe this year. Having lived there, I know the enviro-groups can and are a problem. However a way has always been found around them in the past and probably will in the future, as long as reasonably "gentle extraction" methods are used, which is in keeping with the type of mining needed on both the kenville and slocan properties. Anyway I have to go to work (mining the construction industry in Alberia) and hope that theres enough action out of anglo this year to keep the thread alive. I am happy to provide any info I can if anyone is interested.
