Hasn't IPOed yet. Here's something Peabody (competitor) is doing... "Peapod to Use Excite for Targeted Marketing" Internet grocery shopper Peapod said it will work with Excite to target promotions to consumers on the Web. Excite subsidiary MathLogic's tools will be used by the e-tailer in advertising published on the Excite (XCIT) co-branded portions of Netscape's (NSCP) Netcenter and Webcrawler. "Excite's targeting and other data-driven capabilities, coupled with a deal structure that rewards performance, provide Peapod with a very powerful and efficient Internet component to our overall marketing mix," said Peapod (PPOD) chief operating officer John C. Walden. No financial terms of the multiyear agreement were made public.
