I have two Sony Vaio's. The tiny one, the 505, is a work of art. The bigger one, PCG-F150, has to be rebooted and go through safe mode about every 4th start. I got them because of their I-link port and software which makes downloading stills off my Sony camcorder a snap. Get a desktop. They're cheaper and more easily expandable. Both cost in the low $2000's, but I'm leasing the baby one from Compusa and the big one from PC Connection. Leasing is the way to go since computers are already obsolete when you bring them home.
