Here's some interesting information. I am a photographer. One of my clients is the general contractor for Theragenics' expansions. THRX makes palladium pellets that are used to deliver low level radiation to malignancies, typically of the prostate gland. Currently they are operating 2 cyclotrons. A third is scheduled to go online soon and the last expansion was for a fourth bay to house another unit probably by fall/winter '96. How can I put this in a careful way - they have an eye for significant future expansion as the demand for their product continues to grow. The only thing that will slow them down will be a cure for cancer.

As far as their stock right now, I would probably wait until the recent huge move settles in for consolidation. I had 1500 shares at 8.50 and started placing stops at about 13. I got stopped out at 13.50 by a measly 1/8 point. I guess the lesson is - there is no comfortable place to put a stop. If it's effective, it's gonna hurt - but not as much as one that is comfortable and gets popped every time. Still, 55% ain't chump change. I think that the high 16's was all that could be expected from the charts - clearly touched a trend line drawn across the last two tops and todays reaction was pretty strong.

I'm looking to get in when it's ripe again.
