All I can wonder is can anyone really visualise what something the size of Great Britain is. It seem within day over 32000 were rescued in an area that size. I have read that FEMA response was well within timelines and far more massive than anything in the past. Now all have seen how a critical mass of the stupidest of NO were put together because of a last minute decision by one of the stupidest mayor's I have ever witnessed. I have also now heard that organization with relief were prevented from taking the supplies to those stupid folks at the superdome who were whinning and defecating all over themselves. They were prevented by the incompetent locals who hand no idea of anything as best I can tell. All the fuss is about stupid talking heads without a clue whinning and sniveling about how the stupidest of NO were all defecating on themselves because they did not know any better. It is not the job of FEMA of prevent abjectly stupid people from becoming victims of their own stupidity. FEMA did a wonderful job of saving those abjectly stupid people from themselves. McCain I have considered an idiot for a very long time. I did not hear any blame game from Lott. I did hear Newt on O'Reilly and was surprised at how mind bogglingly stupid Newt's comments were. I have held Newt in high regard for a long time. But his comments proved to me he may understand the theory of logistics, but had no concept of execution and real time rational analysis. The President said the response was not up to snuff. That places no blame. I don't see how tht President has in any way disagreed with my positions. As to placing an Admiral as the point person in charge after a few days, I don't see that as a rebuke of Mr. Brown. In the Military you have the Marines and the Army, they have different missions. An invasion is a different task than day to day slogging it out and the task of occupation. Mr. Brown decided to resign and was not asked to resign. I do believe Mr. Brown did it because stupid hateful spiteful people were making him the issue. He did what he thought was best. "You see American FEMA did an outstanding job" the obvious proof is more and more for all to see everyday. I am not surprised so many are too blind to see it. Those who died in NO will be shown to have died in the first days of flooding and very few because of some lack of response. No additional dammage occured in NO because of some lack of response.
