Jon, Good or lousy is not the issue. The point than needs to be considered is that the insiders had knowledge of this pending deal and may have been able to incorporate such information into the execution of their buying and selling decisions. That is something that wasn't available to other shareholders.

I do like the acquisition but that is another point that should not be taken into account when considering the fairness of how this deal and executive selling went down. Insider trading laws relate more to trading based upon the availability of non public information rather than a judgement call of that being good, bad or ugly.
