HCA subpoenaed over Senate leader's stock news.yahoo.com Federal prosecutors have subpoenaed hospital operator HCA Inc. in connection with sales of stock held by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, the company said on Friday. Frist, a Republican from Tennessee, has come under fire in news reports about the sale of his stock in the company, which his father and brother helped to found, shortly before the company warned that earnings would miss expectations. The company said it is cooperating with the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York's request to produce documents.
