"We are a long way from controlling the weather." Yep. "Emissions aren’t going to go down anytime soon, especially with China coming online." Double yep. "Sea level is rising." Yep again (but it's S-L-O-W in human terms.) "People that are smart enough will move to higher ground and those who aren’t will suffer the consequences no matter how many handouts there are." Maybe... but what I'm worried about is a cycle of wasteful subsidies, wasteful or unwise building, followed by yet more waste of limited taxpayer's resources in rebuilding. Sometimes the squeekiest wheel shouldn't get the grease.
