If you get a chance, take a look at the Nov.1 Business Week e.biz issue (it is contained as an insert in their regular magazine). The article that caught my eye was entitled "What's With All the WAREHOUSES?" E-tailers see they'll need bricks and mortars, too. Now, if this isn't a potential market opportunity for ASI's products, then I don't know what is. They need to be efficient, leverage their own data collection sources, and above all - reduce their costs. ASI can help them do all of that! Well, exactly! AMZN is building warehouses like crazy. Staff need to run those warehouses. That sounds more likely to me than EBAY, which is mostly running servers (and not always very well <g>). FWIW, which of course may not be very much. Wonder if at some point they'll be allowed to announce who this mysterious e-whiz is? WUWT
