I don’t think it’s Putin’s fault. He went in because Ukes shelled Eastern regions where ethnic Russians live.
Minsk agreement was not to shell, so it was violated daily. Putin didn’t really annex anything, these regions wanted and chose to join Russia because Ukrainian army shelled and killed them daily. Ukraine rewrote history and banned education in Russian language. Nearly 50% of Ukraine are ethnic Russians. Not a surprising choice for them at all to flee Ukraine and join Russia. There is ministry of truth in the US, the situation is nearly as bad as in the USSR. Oh, back in 2014 in Odessa Ukrainian Nazi burned ethnic Russians. Made them go into a building then lit it up with women and children. You can read about it and even find a video. Kiev is similar to Russia as Washington DC to US. Kievan Rus and the Rurik tsar dynasty started with Oleg of Novgorod, a Viking who started Russia by moving to Kyiv circa 900 ad. Later the dynasty ruled all over Russia and Ukraine. It’s the birthplace of Russia. So US fucking with it can get it nuked, even with MAD in the picture, regardless of whether it’s Putin or someone else. It’s like If Russia won the Cold War, then moved Cuba into Washington DC and started destroying statues and national monuments there and pissed on Declaration of Independence.

This is not a defense of Putin, I am just saying the chance of a nuclear Armageddon is very high and “Putin is not bluffing”. If he is gone, the chance of a nuclear Armageddon will remain high. Because nobody can piss on the Declaration of Independence or they will get nuked and shot.
