No apology necessary. I am just as gloomy. The other part of human nature is our adaptability, we will adapt but it is not going to be easy or painless. I think the greater the society the easier it is to be toppled - mostly due to greed and arogance. North America will have to 'fall in line' with lesser countries, as Asia, particulary China takes the economic lead in the near future. I just stopped worrying about it - it is going to happen whether I stand on a table and shout or not.
